FAQ

{“@context”:”https://schema.org”,”@type”:”FAQPage”,”@id”:”https://www.beautydisrupted.com/shop/”,”mainEntity”:[{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”<meta charset=\”utf-8\”>What are the 4 types of hair?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”The 4 types of hair include: Type 1, which is straight; Type 2, which is more or less wavy; Type 3, which is curly; and Type 4, which is described as coily. It is important to note that one head of hair may display several different curl patterns, and that strand thickness also greatly influences your hair quality.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”<meta charset=\”utf-8\”>How do I identify my hair type?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”The easiest way to identify your hair type is to observe the way it dries after washing it. If your hair dries completely straight, you have Type 1 hair; if it dries with a slight curve to it (but without any noticeable curls), you have Type 2 hair; and if it dries with clearly visible curls or coils, depending on the curl pattern, you either have Type 3 or Type 4 hair.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”How do I stop my hair from being so oily?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”There are many ways to prevent your hair from becoming too oily. Here are some steps you can do at home: 1. Try washing your hair less often to restore its natural oil regulation; 2. Shampoo properly – twice if you use any type of product in your hair; 3. Wash your hands before handling your hair; 4. Clean your hairbrush regularly; 5. Massage your scalp daily.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Is silicone harmful to humans?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”Silicone is not harmful to humans. Due to its chemical stability, it is considered by experts as a perfectly safe, non-toxic ingredient to be used in skincare, haircare, cosmetics, and even for surgical enhancements.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What is a hair?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”Your hair is made of a tough protein called keratin. Each strand of hair is anchored to your body with a hair follicle found in your skin. Your hair’s main purpose is to protect and warm your body from harsh temperatures and foreign objects.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Why is my hair oily after 1 day?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”There are many reasons why your hair gets oily again only 1 day after washing. Shampooing too often is a less-known but common reason for increased oil-production. Still, if you have a greasy scalp, it is important that you make sure to thoroughly cleanse it with natural astringents to close the oil glands and stabilize oil production.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What is a shave bar?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”A shave (or shaving) bar is a compact soap that can be used instead of the traditional can of shaving cream. Due to its low concentration of water and plastic-free components, the shave bar is a much more sustainable alternative to aerosol cans typically used for shaving, as these contain colatile organic compounds (VOCs).”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What is a conditioner bar?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”A conditioner bar is a block of solid conditioner that do not need any plastic bottles to house them – rather, they tend to be packaged in compostable or biodegradable materials, making them a much more sustainable alternative to traditional bottled conditioners.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Is a shampoo bar better?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”There are many reasons why a shampoo bar is a better alternative than bottled shampoo. For one, the bar contains no sulfates, parabens, silicones, phthalates, or synthetic fragrances, making them less harmful to your hair and scalp. On top of this, the shampoo bar is much more sustainable than its liquid counterpart due to its low water concentration and plastic-free packaging.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What are the advantages of switching to a shampoo bar?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”There are many advantages of switching from liquid shampoo to a solid shampoo bar. Due to its low water concentration, the shampoo bar is packed with more concentrated, natural ingredients, making its beneficial properties more effective – releaving itchy scalps, promoting hair growth, and moisturizing your hair.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What is silicone made of?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”Silicone is made of hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, and silicon. In skincare, haircare, and cosmetics, silicone is used for its moisturizing and softening properties, making it the perfect ingredient for formulating hair conditioner.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Which conditioner is best for hair?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”While there are many conditioners on the market that could be considered the best for hair in general, it is important that you always choose your conditioner depending on your hair type and unique hair needs. In general, look for conditioners that contain moisturizing and nourishing ingredients. Be wary of harsh ingredients such as sodium chloride or alcohol, as these may irritate your scalp or even damage your hair.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”What is difference between moisturizing and hydrating?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”The main difference between moisturizing and hydrating properties is that ‘hydration’ has to do with the absorption and infusing of moisture into the cells of your skin or the strands of your hair. ‘Moisture’, on the other hand, locks in the hydration and forms a natural, protective barrier that ensures that the moisture stays put.”}},{“@type”:”Question”,”name”:”Why do shampoo bars make hair greasy?”,”acceptedAnswer”:{“@type”:”Answer”,”text”:”Some shampoo bars may make your hair feel greasy or waxy due to their high concentration of natural oils – such as coconut, almond, or olive oil – in combination with the alkali ingredient that gives them their cleansing (or soapy) properties. If you’re dealing with greasy hair, look for shampoo bars especially formulated for oily hair.”}}]}
