Shipping
We ship to all countries in Europe except to the UK. We have warehouses in The Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland and ship from the warehouse nearest you in order to reduce shipping time and emissions. You will never have to pay for any custom taxes.
The delivery time will depend on the country where you are. In mainland Europe, delivery is within 1 to 3 working days. In Switzerland, delivery is within 1 to 2 working days. In Norway and Finland, delivery is within 5 to 8 working days. In exceptional cases deliveries can take longer, for example due to severe weather or strikes, but you can always follow the progress of your order here. The only thing you need is your email. Our full fize bars last as least as long as 2 regular sized bottles of liquid product. Our conditioner bars last at least as long as 3 regular sized bottles of conditioner. Each of our smaller travel sized bars (Voyager Travel Kit) last at least as long as 1 regular sized bottle of liquid product.
Our shampoo bars, conditioner bars and shaving bars have a pH between 5.5 and 6.5. We make them this way to be close to pH of the hair (between 5.5 and 6) and skin (also between 5.5 and 6).
Our bars are consciously crafted in the South of France using the finest natural ingredients. They are extremely mild & gentle, and the team at Beauty Disrupted uses our bars (except the shaving bars...) on our own kids. However, in order to claim that our bars are suitable for small children, we would need to do lab testing on children, and as we have not done those tests, we can not recommend our bars for children.
All our bars rate excellent, or very good, on Yuka.
No. We are certified Vegan & Cruelty Free by PETA and never test on animals. Nor do we use ingredients from animals. We never have. And we never will!
All our beauty and haircare products, including our packaging, are designed in Stockholm and consciously crafted in the South of France. Our accessories are hand crafted in Portugal using natural clay.
Yes! Our packaging is consciously crafted in the South of France using FSC certified cardboard (70%). All our packages are completely free of plastic and easily recyclable (as cardboard).

Countless harsh ingredients can be found in traditionally made beauty and haircare products. We don't use any harsh ingredients in our bars, which means we help you avoid questionable ingredients like Parabens, Triclosan, Phthalates, SLS & SLES, Dimethicone, Formaldehyde, Quaternium-15, Drying Alcohols, Silicone, etc.

We design our hair & beauty products in Stockholm and produce them in the heart of Provence. But our Headquarter is actually high up in the Swiss Alps in a little ski resort called Engelberg. This is where we live, work, and play. We close the office after every major snowstorm so that we can all ski powder and enjoy the majestic mountains. But, due to climate change, the glaciers we love are melting away, and our powder closures get less and less frequent. And that is actually one of the key reasons why we decided to start Beauty Disrupted to begin with. Because we have experienced paradise — we even think we live in it — and we refuse to lose it!
No matter where your paradise is, we hope you join us and support us in giving back 20% of our profit to organisations that protect the planet and combat climate change.
Short answer: Low cost, huge margins.
Somewhat longer answer: The industry loves their business model. They add lots of water, some chemicals, and a tiny little bit of a premium ingredient or two. Then they only talk about the premium ingredient, thereby neglecting the vast majority of what’s actually in the bottle. This leads to wonderful margins for them, and they don’t want to change that. Solid bars, on the other hand, are loaded with premium natural ingredients instead of water and chemicals, so they cost a lot more to produce. Hence the industry is reluctant to change. But as most consumers realize that we only have one planet, and see that there are amazing alternatives to the old fashioned traditional beauty products, we think the liquid brands will have to switch to bars sooner rather than later.
